Huh

Apparently, the NYPL Librarians and staff have an "extreme temperature" clause built into their contracts. If it's too hot or too cold in the library, then can leave and still get paid.

This is hysterical if only because, by default, every building in Manhattan is 90,000 degrees in the winter. It's why the old concept of temperature control we have as a people is cracking the window up top and walking around in a bra and panties all day.

...which could be an awesome idea for the NYPL actually.
